Halifax Humane Society Announces Reopening of Redinger Spay and Neuter Clinic Dog Spays / Neuters $45 and Cat Spays / Neuters $30 Through August

Daytona Beach, FL – The Halifax Humane Society is thrilled to announce the reopening of the Redinger Spay and Neuter Clinic to the public on August 13, 2024. Located at 600 Mason Ave, Suite 150, Daytona Beach, FL, the clinic will operate by appointment only from Tuesday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. To schedule an appointment online visit www.halifaxhumanesociety.org/service-for-pets/spay-neuter-clinic/.

Thanks to a special grant from Florida Animal Friends, through the end of August, all dog spays/neuters are $45, and all cat spays/neuters are $30 for animals belonging to the public. (Normal discounted dog spay/neuter prices are $100 to $300, and normal discounted cat spay/neuter prices are $85.)

The purpose of the Halifax Humane Society Redinger Clinic is to provide safe, affordable spay/neuter services for dogs and cats to help stem the tide of homeless animals entering animal shelters due to overpopulation. In our commitment to offering the highest standard of care, we have added the availability of a pre-surgery basic lab panel to ensure the pet’s optimal health before surgery.

Additionally, the clinic provides affordable heartworm testing for dogs, heartworm and flea prevention medications for dogs and cats, and microchipping for dogs and cats at the time of surgery. When customers purchase products like NexGard, Heartgard Plus, and NexGard Combo from the Redinger Clinic at the time of surgery, 100% of proceeds help offset the cost of keeping spay/neuter services discounted and available to every pet owner seeking help.

Since 1937, the Halifax Humane Society’s sole mission has been preventing animal cruelty wherever it exists. As one of the largest animal protection organizations in Central Florida, upwards of 15,000 animals, from roosters and bunnies to cats, dogs, and horses, will turn to us for care, compassion, and hope this year alone.
