The Halifax Humane Society exists because of the generosity of our donors. Because much trust is placed into our responsibility in being good stewards of the gifts we receive, we return that trust by having a strong donor privacy policy.
Your donation of-
$35 provides antibiotics for severe skin wounds
$50 provides one animal with spay/neuter surgery to help reduce pet overpopulation
$100 provides necessary supplies for a foster family to care for 10 kittens/puppies until adoption age
$125 Provides heart worm treatment for 1 dog
$250 Provides x-rays for a lost pet hit by a car
There are many worthy charitable organizations in animal welfare as well as organizations in Volusia County that support worthy causes. When you are considering making a donation, two of the most important criteria is the history of the organization and how efficiently they operate.
We work tirelessly to rescue, heal, adopt and advocate for animals in need. But without the public’s support, we couldn’t offer our animals an opportunity for a second chance at life.
One of the ways we are able to meet the needs of homeless animals is through the generosity of people like yourself donating items frequently used at our shelter.
